Customer portal
Customer portal
The separate workspace your customers use to follow their work, approve extra findings and collect their documents.
This section is for your customers
These pages describe what someone at a customer organisation sees. If you work at the maintenance organisation, you manage portal access from Billing - but reading this section tells you exactly what your customer sees, which is useful when they call.
What it's for
The customer portal is a separate, much smaller workspace for the organisations whose aircraft and components you maintain. It answers the four questions customers ask most:
- Where is my work up to?
- You found something extra - do you have my approval?
- Where are my certificates and records?
- What do I owe?
How it differs from the staff workspace
The portal is not the application with things hidden. It is its own workspace, at its own address, with its own sign-in screen.
- Portal users hold no roles. They are not staff accounts.
- They see only their own work orders, documents and invoices - never another customer's, and never your internal costs, margins or notes.
- There are five screens in total.
- Nothing is emailed. Notices appear in the portal.

| Notifications | Notices when a decision is needed or a document becomes available |
| Settings | Your password and optional two-factor authentication |
